| The project is based on interdisciplinary and intercultural field research oriented towards documenting indigenous languages spoken in the Argentine Chaco region. The Chaco Project collects, processes, and archives linguistic and cultural data for Mocovi (Guaycuru), Tapiete (Tupi-Guarani), Vilela (Lule-Vilela) and Wichi (Mataco), with the objective of developing computarized and digitalized text, lexicographic, and ethnographic databases along with documentary videos. Documentation activities are carried out by a team comprised of linguistics, anthropogists, and media experts. | ||
| En esta sesión AG relata el cuento del tigre y el zorro. El tigre y el zorro son dos personajes que aparecen con frecuencia en las narrativas wichí. | ||
| La lengua usada por AG para la narración es el español, aunque tiene algunos pequeños fragmentos en wichí. | ||
| AG nació en Los Esteros, y aproximadamente en el año 1982 se desplazó con su mujer y sus hijos hasta Tres Pozos. Allí se instalaron e hicieron el documento con radicación en Tres Pozos. AG es uno de los conultantes más importantes en nuestro trabajo. Tiene una gran habilidad para la ejecución de instrumentos y para la narración de historias míticas wichí. Posee también un gran conocimiento sobre el monte chaqueño y los recursos que éste ofrece. | ||
