| Description: | Audio recording of the Kalahari Basin Area animal word list at the Diphuduhudu village - southeast of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Diphuduhudu inhabitants refer to their language as Sekwa - and thus is presumably the language of the Bakwa referenced in Valiente-Nouaille (1993) "The Kua" which he claimed to be unintelligible to all other San groups. Sekwa is most certainly a Kalahari Khoe language; however further research is needed to classify it further. It may be more closely relate to Gǁana (West Kalahari Khoe) than to Tshwa. | |
