Description:Recordings of African American and European American students recorded while sitting in the soundproof booth in the Communication Dept. at NCSU in November and December, 2002. Subjects answered a few demographic questions, retold a children's tale, read a list of sentences, read a dialog, and read a list of words. Recording was conducted by Erik R. Thomas and Jeffrey L. Reaser. Supported by NSF grant BCS-0213941. Collection contains 36 individual interviews/records.
