This book, translated from a WHO publication, explains: major killer diseases in Africa: Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Pneumonia, Tuberculosis; emerging diseases: Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Conjunctivitis; and diseases preventable by immunization: Polio, and Diptheria. Recommended for use by health educators, parents, community development agents, adult literacy practitioners, and literacy participants. Ce livre est une traduction d'une publication de l'OMS. Il contient des informations sur les maladies suivantes: les maladies qui tuent le plus en Afrique: le paludisme, le VIH/SIDA, la pneumonie, et la tuberculose; les maladies émergentes: diabète, hypertension, conjonctivité; les maladies que l'on peut prévenir par immunisation: polio et dipthérie. Le livre est recommandé aux éducateurs dans le domaine de la santé, aux parents, aux agents de développement communitaire, les pratiquants et autres intervenants dans le domaine de l'alphabétisation.
