Description:Prepared as part of the ALMA Project (African Language Materials Archive Project) of WARC (West African Research Center), sponsored by Unesco and hosted on the WEB as part of AODL (American Overseas Digital Library), sponsored by the Council of American Overseas Research Centers and the American Institute of Yemeni Studies. "Kambiya Dimboayaa Foore Landoo Dookuu Bundaa le (The Gambia Family Planning Association) ye ñin kitaaboo safee"--P. [ii]. 'Father know-it-all' is a translation of information developed by The Gambia Family Planning Association. It explains how the police gendarmes have been trained using these materials and the impact of the program on the use of family planning methods. The book explains the importance of making informed choices about family size and offers suggestions on how to prevent "sexually transmitted infections". The publication is targetted at non-literate men who resist family planning methods for their wives.
